Mass Transit system or just another Bus

I was born in a house with a large family and only one car and unlike the troubled present day city ,Karachi used to be a very fun place family get-to-gathers , weddings and late night parties were very consistent or should i say rampant.Imagine that family members and invitees to a function not living in the house also gather to go to a party with you.Obviously the only one car has to make many trips to and forth....this can only happen when the venue of the function is near the house. Karachi has been a very big megapolis for many decades and i remember going to out of town and suburbs from a very central place in Karachi.We had to arrange extra rides for such occasions by hiring or borrowing from friends.
Just imagine if my parents and family instead of arranging extra rides back then for few hours had said " We have a situation , what we need tonight is a Mass Transit System like Japan lets borrow a few hundred million $$ from a bank and build.How many parties and functions we could have missed.  
What we see here in this picture printed in the city page of a leading American daily captioned as CNG trouble is an everyday scene on main city routes during the peak rush hours, early mornings and late evenings when the number of work related commuters are the largest.The Interesting Thing is that the international donors and lenders will be very glad to give easy loans of millions of $$ to help these poor Pakistani people when all they need is a proper management of the existing system and humanity.
