H.E. Rula Ghani, First Lady of Afghanistan meets Ambassador Marriet Schuurman, NATO

H.E. Rula Ghani, First Lady of Afghanistan, has become the most prominent advocate of human rights and gender equality in Afghanistan since her husband, Ashraf Ghani, became President in 2014. She and NATO's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, Ambassador Marriet Schuurman, met last month and reviewed the progress made in recent years.
